ONE TO ONE

Tailored plans ranging from losing weight, improving strength or gaining muscle. This can be discussed during an initial consultation to outline your goals and James will help you to achieve those goals whilst measuring progress throughout.

GROUP TRAINING

Up to 4 people for an hour’s session focussing on circuit training ranging from cardiovascular fitness, to interval training, strength work and High Intensity Interval training. James likes to make group training challenging but also fun involving teamwork to help each other reach our goals. 

NUTRITIONAL ADVICE

Nutrition is vital to help achieve your goals. A varied diet making sure we consume all the nutrients we need to fuel the body and give it energy. We need to make sure we consume plenty of protein, carbohydrates, fats and fibre. Eating plenty of fruit and vegetables to get our 5 a day in as well.The body uses more energy during exercise. Depending on your goals however eating less might not be the way to go. If you are looking to lose weight then potentially decreasing food intake might help but quite often eating more of the right foods is whats needed to keep our energy levels up for a workout.

 

Eating more healthily will help with the following :

  •  Reduce the risk of illness or injury

  •  Help performance in your chosen sport or activity

  • The best recovery after any exercise, training or event.

 

As well as eating the foods to supply our body with plenty of nutrients and energy we also need to make sure to keep hydrated. during any exercise drinking water throughout.
